Re: Kidney Stones

True, but it is only a small amount of pine we use, less than 1%, and only because I helped an (not really )elderly (Thai) lady to chop down some pines in her garden. When we burn pine it is with full airflow and reheat. Not a problem. Per Well, that's reassuring - the idea of you standin...

Re: Kidney Stones

I could be wrong, but it looks to be pine or some similar resinous wood. I always thought that was a recipe for a chimney fire due to rapid accumulation of incomplete combustion residues........ Please enlighten me..... Does Per have an FADEC stove? (50% sarcasm) Yes, she's called Margareth. 8-) Per

Re: Kidney Stones

I bet that hurt the back getting it up there :--) however you now have a good dozen logs (a long weekend's burning?) My back has been a pain in the ass ever since I totalled a Volvo "Jeep" while pissed. I still own the Royal Norwegian Navy NOK 85.000 for that pleasure. Thanks to pleading ...

http://www.cargolaw.com/2011nightmare_mv_rena.html Oh my days. What a brilliant collection of images and descriptions of how salvage is performed. This is such fascinating engineering. ...Back strain? So do I, after lifting this little baby onto the splitter... I am sorry, but your logphotos.net picture was rejected as I could not see it. I am reliably informed that I do not have kidney stones, rather I have a back strain. This is remarkable. Splendid. :!: Back strain? I am informed that rumours that they can be dissolved with Akkevit are unfounded.
That may be true, but copious amounts of Akevitt makes the whole ordeal so much more fun.

Re: Kidney Stones

I may have them. Discuss.
Not dangerous, normally, but very, very painful.
Like giving birth to 5 kg twins, without nitrous.
Good luck.

Needs more facial hair to be a true home run...but nevertheless, indeed . One only sports facial hair during the Yuletide to please the rug munchers. Since this video was recorded during the warmer season, spring or fall, facial hair would not be present. Evidence? The water in the tub was not froz...

They should use manly diesel engines instead of those girlie hair blowers.
Per
Indeed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnOSRCuZBkY
Those are high reving girlie engines operated by girlie girls.
A real man's engine maxes out at 125 rpm, a bit higher for generators.

If any of you guys read Car Magazine you would have seen a picture, a small one, of the dear Kia Rio proudly waving the Norwegian flag while waiting to cross the flooded highway. June issue, page 50.
