Re: Kidney Stones

I am informed that rumours that they can be dissolved with Akkevit are unfounded.
That may be true, but copious amounts of Akevitt makes the whole ordeal so much more fun.

Re: Kidney Stones

I may have them. Discuss.
Not dangerous, normally, but very, very painful.
Like giving birth to 5 kg twins, without nitrous.
Good luck.

Re: FAO Per

Needs more facial hair to be a true home run...but nevertheless, indeed . One only sports facial hair during the Yuletide to please the rug munchers. Since this video was recorded during the warmer season, spring or fall, facial hair would not be present. Evidence? The water in the tub was not froz...

This is your spirit brother, I am sure.

Close, but one enjoys Akevitt in these circumstances.

They should use manly diesel engines instead of those girlie hair blowers.
Per
Indeed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnOSRCuZBkY
Those are high reving girlie engines operated by girlie girls.
A real man's engine maxes out at 125 rpm, a bit higher for generators.

Re: Norwegian exceptionalism

If any of you guys read Car Magazine you would have seen a picture, a small one, of the dear Kia Rio proudly waving the Norwegian flag while waiting to cross the flooded highway. June issue, page 50. Magnifying glass advisable. Per How the hell did you know you'd be in the magazine? I love that you...

Re: Norwegian exceptionalism

If there's anyone still out there? Couple of "amusing" episodes from the trip. After Europcar failed to pick us up at the airport we found that they're "airport location" was opposite said airport, and that we had to cross an 8-lane highway, and a two lane feederway via a bridge. Not going to happen...

Five hour drive from Ica to Lima because damned Europcar could not give us an adress that could be used on the GPS. Ever tried driving in Lima? Total f***ing madness. I blame the akkevit. Nope, ahora no. This time, blame pisco. Am in Ica , Peru on our return leg from Machu Picchu to Lima. Rented a "car" in Lima on the 16th and headed for MP. Drove through floods, mud and rock slides. A couple of times half the road had disappeared into the abyss. Good fun at nig...
