Re: No one died

I was in and out of JFK on that night. The wind was relatively strong out of the southeast off the water and it was bringing in continuous banks of maritime fog. You'd get occasional periods of better than 5000RVR and then 5 minutes later it was 1000RVR. We briefed a CAT II Autoland but the problem ...

I don't know.....the food in the A gates terminal kinda sucks.

On my last layover, my run got screwed up because they've dug up the whole park around the arch.

On the bright side, you can still see the old TWA schoolhouse building when departing 29

Re: MD-80 Troubles, Latest News.

Well, I'm here in Nashville and the 717 is sitting here on the ramp undergoing an engine change, so I'm guessing that there's more going on than 'turbulence' causing the cowl to fly off.

PS, 3WE, if you see Maddog headed into flyover airport inthe next couple hours, wave hi

Sorry J, but I'm going to have to 'one-up' your story........I mean who amongst us hasn't peed all over our fellow passengers once in a while (CNN)—A passenger on a Portland, Oregon-bound JetBlue flight is accused of urinating on fellow travelers, seats and luggage. Re: Singapore Air Jet Loses Power on Both Engines at 39,000

I am aware of at least two dual engine failures at my airline over the years.....both of them were operator error induced.

In a similar vein, perhaps this airliner continued its flight because there was nothing 'wrong' with the engines when they were shut down

This is Mr Ford's third aviation incident. In the first he severely damaged a helicopter during autorotation practice. In the second, he dinged up a wing during a landing in bad weather. The third is yesterday's

Sorry, my last SAV leg was in mid january. Watched the Seahawks beat Carolina and enjoyed the free hotel breakfast the nex t morning. On the 25th I was flying MCO-LGA-MCO and watching the company slowly cancel all the remaining legs of my trip due to the impending Snowmaggedon. Upon arrival at MCO I...

They have very quickl...

I would agree that the experience of th F/O was alarmingly low. However, I'm more concerned about this quote: The lower fuselage skin, frames and butt splice between frames 67 and 72 were abraded by contact with the runway . I want to know if there is a Butt Splice on my plane........ Not that I'm a...
