RAAF F111G's Final Resting Place

23 ex USAF F111G's that were sold to the RAAF as attrition/spare parts aircraft have been buried in landfill, this was part of the agreement with the sale once the F111 was retired from RAAF service.

Re: B787 New Zealand/Australia Tour

I wish I'd bothered to find out what time it was coming in yesterday - if it landed on 27 I would have had a nice view of the approach from my yard.
0930 on a Saturday is highly unlikely, but thanks for the heads up.
No worries.

...just trying to figure out how women captians get the planes lined up with the yellow line at the gate. You should not discriminate against the female gender pilots. As for stopping on the yellow line at the gates there are two methods either the aircraft is marashalled in with wands by a credite...

Re: 787 troubles, the latest news..

787 visiting AKL tomorrow at 10am. Now the question is, do I aim to get there by 10am or assume it will be late!
Looked like a fair turnout reubee for its arrival with the carpark near the approach for runway 23 chockers, looking forward to seeing it in Melbourne on Thursday.

The B787's first time to our 'neck of the woods' it arrives in Sydney on Tuesday and Melbourne on Thursday, will no doubt have my own pics when it comes to Melbourne.
