Well, it appears to be the most powerful tugboat on the planet, but I am keen to understand more from an engineering perspective from our Ancient Mariner. It looks like a BEAST
Would you say it's a titanic tugboat?

I wonder in what possible universe he thought his actions were acceptable.

Ural A321 at Moscow on Aug 15th 2019 results in some popped corn and a few slightly shabby engines.
I love the people just hanging about outside the airframe in the videos. What the f***, people?

I work with a guy who is from Portugal, with Brazilian heritage, who cannot answer a straightforward question without including lots of additional detail - it's a thing. People do it.

AF - New Documentary

A documentary about the search for AF 477 has been released. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/may/30/unseen-footage-of-underwater-air-france-af447-search-to-air-10-years-after-crash I watched it yesterday, it's less than an hour (appears made for TV). Not sure if the director has sold it to an...

I'd like in on this too. I'm a retired cop and computer geek, so maybe I could be director of computer security. Or maybe I could program the airplanes to not go nose down all by themselves. I have lots of good ideas.

I remember “flight deck”- I think I joined- it was an interesting few months of homelessness and who knows why we landed here. This place has had some rough months in recent years. I guess the in...

Distasteful CEO pic "inspecting" the wreckage inside the crater. Awful idea. https://i.redd.it/hoaazi0toal21.jpg Guess he really needed a good photo op. There must be a PR bible that says the CEO of an airline must go to the scene of the crash immediately, which i get on a certain level but there's...

Re: Atlas 767, Houston

Curious feature that's come out today: very little fuel with the wreckage. Strange, because fuel exhaustion alone shouldn't cause this kind of event.
