Re: A business proposition to ADInfo.com

I'd like in on this too. I'm a retired cop and computer geek, so maybe I could be director of computer security. Or maybe I could program the airplanes to not go nose down all by themselves. I have lots of good ideas.

Re: Former AD member

I have no recent memories of Derf posts. Maybe a few posts on jet photos a year or two after the crash. I remember “flight deck”- I think I joined- it was an interesting few months of homelessness and who knows why we landed here. This place has had some rough months in recent years. I guess the in...

Distasteful CEO pic "inspecting" the wreckage inside the crater. Awful idea. https://i.redd.it/hoaazi0toal21.jpg Guess he really needed a good photo op. There must be a PR bible that says the CEO of an airline must go to the scene of the crash immediately, which i get on a certain level but there's...

Re: Atlas 767, Houston

Curious feature that's come out today: very little fuel with the wreckage. Strange, because fuel exhaustion alone shouldn't cause this kind of event. Maybe an uncontained engine failure ripped open the tank and it all vented a few thousand feet up? But you'd need to be phenomenally unlucky for it t...

Re: Ottawa bus wreck

I have often eyed the dedicated roadways that some public transport can use to get from point to point. I've seen them in Canada and Southern California, I am sure there's one in the OC. Oh and: Ottawa has a tonne of these. RIght, but it doesn't appear to have been an issue here - rather- legacy la...

Re: Ottawa bus wreck

The following article includes additional photographs that show the tall bus stuck the overhead canopy causing severe damage to the upper deck. The accident occurred along Ottawa Transit's Transitway (no private vehicles). I've ridden it several times and the busses move along pretty quickly as the...

Re: Ottawa bus wreck

I'm trying to understand this one. You have a bus stop designed to kill passengers in double deck buses? Per I think I can help here. North America typically has not used double decker buses really ever. The double deckers are a UK phenomenon which are very popular (the norm) in London. The legacy ...

Per needs to be a man and do the right thing.
Bah, she ran away with her lover, hubby closed bank account, hence "kidnapping".

ad.info is under attack again

Team, unfortunately we are once again under attack from spammers. I have taken remedial action to minimise impact, however there have been over 100 bogus accounts registered - 70 in the last 24h alone.

I remain, as ever, your faithful administrator.
