Re: China Eastern 737 down

CFIT. How can we avoid that? Suicide crew, passengers, terrorists. What else can be done? Really, the trajectory of this aircraft makes me think of something like a suicide attempt, a terrorist attack or a fight in the cockpit that finished bad. I will be really surprised if after investigation they...

Re: China Eastern 737 down

Now, talking seriously, to me this is clearly a human related incident, not a technical problem.

Re: China Eastern 737 down

Definitely a sudden covid 19 attack to the whole crew.
Nothing else can explain a 90 degrees disorientation.

Hi there.

I feel really stupid trying to write from my "smartphone" with one finger (always the middle one) a message on this old place. I have to thank Monchavo for remembering me that the place still exists. And I notice that it hasn't changed at all. Same old stupid a'hollies arguing with same ol...

FIFA 2018 Rusia World Cup thread

I see why nobody has posted a thread like this: USA, Italy, Norway and a lot others are OUT. Argentina barely tying a game and failing a penalty shot. Brasil only having a tie with Switzerland. But MEXICO defeated the actual World Champion Germany, teaching them a lesson. And there is also a lot to ...

Puesto que parece que no hay mucho interés en abrir una secuencia sobre el Mundial FIFA Rusia 2018, aparentemente aquí es donde se puede usar la letra adecuada:
México derrotó a los Krauts 1-0 ¡coño!

Things I don't miss:
  • second-hand cigarette smoke everywhere
I don't miss that
I miss FIRST HAND SMOKING everywhere!

And I miss misses. A lot of airlines ares using the same misses of the 70's! :(

Re: What am I missing? A big IL 76

Ok Peminu, I'll give it a shot. 247 pax and 10 crew in a plane designed to carry 125-140 troops and 5 crew - I think we could be on to something.... I'll give it a shot too: Cargo movement shifting the gravity center. How can you control all those people to move backwards during takeoff like...

What am I missing? A big IL 76

Ilooked in this forum and in the military one and couldn't find a thread about the IL 76 that crashed in Algeria on April 11th.
257 casualties.

Sorry I have been out this long. But now is time to be sorrow for the posible victims , families and friends. Being cruel, in this website, it is time for especulation! No active volcanos, weather bad, A320 (just a Little joystick to control it if you manage to shut down the computer), apparently no...

Re: Asiana 777 at SFO

Parlor talking (PLEASE DO A LOT OF THIS). This crash makes me remember the one one near Amsterdam. In that case some instruments were failing. But it could have easily been avoided by just FLYING THE AIRPLANE BY THE F... PILOTS. Fortunately, little casualties (even when one is too much on both accid...

Re: Asiana 777 at SFO

I believe that we will have a final report sooner than other accidents, because of the evidence, number of survivors and quick recovery of recorders. No connection to London 777 crash: 1-engines not RR, but P&W, with different fuel feeding system. 2-recorders and survivors show an attempt yo acc...

Re: 747-400BCF down in Afghanistan

For what I see, I have to agree that it is a stall and very probably due to a cargo movement.

What I don't agree is with the date of the video shown (2013.02.01?).

Re: A350 Troubles the latest news......

Since the A350 is made out of an increased proportion of cheap composite materials rather than good american metal , the cabin pressure can be lower than previous generations, down to 6000 feet from the previous 8000 feet. Fixed , but wouldn't that be higher cabin pressure? Exactly, or lower "...

Re: Peminu

Thank you all!

I was busy yesterday trying my birthday presents including some good tequila and a new joystick that can work in Windows 7.

Conclusion: don't drink and try to pass the instrument rating FS checkride, particulary with a new cheap composite joystick!

Apparently this same aircraft was recently in Mexico for the same class of flight (demonstration) that convinced Mexican company Interjet to purchase many aircraft (up to now Interjet flies only Airbuses A 320). Reference (sorry, but in Spanish): http://www.excelsior.com.mx/index.php?m=nota&id_n...
