LH 431 747-800 Dumping Fuel Near YHZ

I'm sitting in hotel near Halifax Airport and decided to tune in the ATC to while away the time while I catch up on work. What do I hear but a 747 diverting from their ORD to FRA flight, and advising the tower that they're dumping fuel and now approaching to land. https://flightaware.com/live/flight...

Boeing has 17 more 747s on order, and at the current production rate of just six airplanes per year, that's less than three years worth of work. These are not good days for the company's most iconic airplane. The jumbo jet with a hump is the reason Boeing's Everett plant even exists. The factory was...

It is so easy to tell this is a fake.

Heck, One Terminal Drive, Middletown PA 17057 Pennsylvania USA is in the middle of a dirt field between the ramp and runways at HAR. If you don't believe me, check it out on google maps.

Not Karl I hope you are very careful here!

I enjoyed MD88 service a couple of weeks ago. Trying to be cleaver when boarding I paused at the flight deck door and said, "Ah, steam gauges!" The captain turned and responded, "Yep, and if Kim Jong Un lobs over a nuc with an electromagnetic pulse, we'll still be in the air!"

This is an interesting (but not positive) development for the A380. I flew Hi Fly late last year between HEL and JFK when Finnair wet-leased one of their A340's to handle HEL-JFK service while Finnair pulled their own A330 from service while crews received A350 training. http://www.airliners.net/pho...
