Re: Amusing

ue flight of a 727 was in 1964, and pocket transistor radios were available that same year (reference: http://www.radioshackcatalogs.com/html/1964/h082.html ). I'm sure not everybody owned one, but they did exist! They exist since the mid 50's, so one can imagine RMIs and radio altimeters spinning ...

Re: Amusing

Walkman had not been invented when this airframe rolled out of the factory. I don't think elawie was speaking of that far "back in the day", as most personal electronic devices didn't died exist back then. But you can change my comment to a pocket radio (or replace "Walkman" with "tape recorder") b...

The key here is that they are manually flying a non-fly-by-wire aeroplanie. Turn up the volume of your walkman when AP is enabled (or in a fly-by wire aeroplanie) and you run the risk of commanding a relentless pull-up (and who knows what could happen if you push the eject button :o  ).

Ok, we[not sure about italics] have not BANNED ALL AEROPLANIES, but [I?]we[/I?] have PARKED a whole lot of aeroplanies. Are you not_happy? Probably not_totally? I can't be happy knowing that this good (but Not_great, as there are aeroplanies still flying) moment (for aeroplanie safety, Not_for huma...

We also had people masking symptoms to get in aeroplanie, shipie or busie or assisting to social events immediately after returning from another country, ignoring the mandatory quarantine for people returning from trips, a...

A lot of things for bored pilots to monkey with, and there is even a cup holder right next to the hatch, so they can have something ready to spill on delicate vital systems. Fabulous!

Why Not_? You are already doing chemtrailing. It's more or less the same thing, but on a smaller scale and killing pests instead of messing with our brains.
You only have to remember that planes and corn fields are a recipe for TOTAL AIR DISASTER!!!

I guess he did encounter tail winds during takeoff
Does Not_that equal to more ground speed? He should have been able to take-off using less runway! (but being very wary of downwind turns).
Maybe he should try with a conveyor belt?

As I said in the OP, blame the Frenchman.

TV antennas are needed to receive Coronavirus updates in Flyover America. We do not have cable. The indoor plumbing was a nice recent improvement.
