Last time I did that it was like 30 years ago, a 486 DX2 with math co-porcessor running Windows 9...

I contend those engines should not actually be classified as engines, but musical instruments.
Never had the pleasure of hearing one personally  , but CONCUR.
And also as works of art (bonus points for no ugly noise-suppression thingys dangling off the back).
INDEED.

Tragic...instead of watching TV, he could have been surfing the web for obscure aviation safety fora.

Re: Would any of these photos be accepted *there*?

I really liked the integrated cheese grater on the side of the B-52ie and was wondering why it is Not_mandatory on all aeroplanies, until I opened the full resolution version of picture and was sorely disappointed.

Re: Okay geniuses, tell me how *this* generates lift

Here we see a NEAR TOTAL TRAIN DISASTER filmed by Trackside Pervs...(I posted this a few years ago). J went to Rail pictures to find THE locomotive put back together again and a new paint job. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAKbkU9l-xE I find it extremely upsetting that yet another form of transpo...

"Nobody's going to drown - the plane is pressurized!"... "Radios don't work underwater"
I have some doubts on some of the events shown in that documentary. I wonder if the final report is out...
But we better wait for the final NTSB report.

I'm quite surprised that its composite tail didn't snap off with all those rapid hardovers :o  . HOWEVER, I do not_see a safety forum where we can give advice to cowboy monkey improvisational Engineers and discuss procedures.. We see an unnecessarily overcomplicated traffic light . Let's hope...

Bit the other side of the coin is that they are susceptible to accidentally get into orbit like what happened in this accident:

Re: DiDia 150 Dream Car

There are all a lot of aviation echoes in this car. Take a look at the dashboard with throttle-like levers. The rear styling looks like jet exhaust. Not featured is the fact that the red tail light lenses swing outward when the turn signal is operated - not unlike an aircraft rudder. See the final ...
