Re: Snitch machine
ATCBob, a further question for you how does the conflict alert work at your workstation? Does every workstation have it? Up here we do, although same as you it does not provide much effect... climbing someone underneath someone else will quite often set it off even though separation was never affect...

Re: Another TCAS save?
I'm not sure what peole expect the FAA to say in this case? The Controller will be fired? No, unfortunately controllers make mistakes, even though the consequences of such mistakes can be quite grave, the fact is controllers are humans. The responsibility of an instructor is a great one, often for l...

Frank, and forum founders.
I just wanted to say thank you, the site looks great, I really like the forum layout and features.
Most of all I appreciate you putting the time and money into it. I hope your own personal finances are not being affected, if so I'd be glad to donate something to help out.
Cheers.

Re: FAO Giles: 3WE is with you...or not?
Specifically you must say flight level, one of the big reasons is what happens in the following situation: Air Canada 123 is handed off at 34,000 assigned a heading of 330? "Air Canada 123, with you 340 heading 330" Get my point? ;) Regarding "With you" It's not proper phraseolog...
