Hard to tell from the video, but it looks like the spoilers never popped up.

Re: F.A.O.: flyboy
Is the “Washington Monument” a “classic localizer” that gets insanely accurate as you get closer than on an ILS landing, or is it computer “enhanced” where deviations are a “constant distance per dot”/whatevermoreorless? What? Does it Basically behave like an OBS needle: less sensitive as you begin...

A hotel room is apparently an "affiliate office". …stripes… You need your own YouTube channel. You can record preliminary crash analysis movies in hotel rooms just like Kelsey and Juan. It would be hilarious if you were your former, slightly-harsher self, and told us outsiders to stick it...

I was also expecting to see a somewhat greater quantity of stripes, given how much he loves the sound of his own voice.

The second I saw that toolbox with his stripes still on, I quit listening. Especially when he made sure to mention that he just came in from London.

That's a good thing because it's not. The operators who ordered -8 passenger versions did so for a reason.

I don't know because none of our birds apparently are subject to that campaign.

[Speculation mode = on] This airplane will never see commercial service for a number of reasons. As a VIP aircraft, its interior would have been highly bespoke. The article doesn't indicate how far that customization progressed before the work was stopped. So the airplane would need extensive rewor...

Oh, come on, it's easy. If the majority wanted the masks to stay in place, then it would stand to reason that the majority of the guests on my flights since the order was lifted would be wearing masks, correct? Or else, where is this "majority"? That was very, VERY weak . Since your guest...

I do agree with him that going back to El Coco probably wasn't the greatest decision. Liberia or Tocumen would have been much easier. One thing the video doesn't make very clear and The Might Juan doesn't mention (probably because he hasn't been to El Coco) is that Rwy 07 is quite a bit uphill mitig...

Re: Sliced in two, you say? Costa Rica 757
Do you have some sort of deeper objection to him and his style? Style? Sure, I do object. He is not engaging and entertaining, rather the opposite. But the quality of the information he presents is, in general, very good. And in this case it was excellent with a detailed explanation of the 757's hy...
