Re: Hummer ironing
Interestingly, the production of the H3 (nevertheless a rather useless car) will continue indefinitely in their plant in SA. I got stuck with one of these pieces of junk during a rental in Boston.... useless POS with no off roading capabilities what so ever. I could barely get this thing to go over...

Re: Boeing to the rescue in Haiti!
Nope, we've just today been asked by your government to send something much more efficient. Ships. Seems like your Blobemasters aren't up to the task. 323 tons of cargo, bah, the smallest ro-ro vessel I've served on could carry 4500 and hundreds of personel. Image the large ones, 25.000 tonnes and ...

A TSA No fly flag should = the passenger being unable to check in let alone board an aircraft. It should not matter the time(Example if Uncle Dale is put on the list and 1 hour later check in) nor the reason.

Re: What to do in Key West
I'm headed down there in mid-Feb for a week to hang out with my family somewhere warm. They're all in Michigan and Wisconsin, and no one has ever been down to the Keys before. What's there to do? I'm planning on some kayaking through mangroves, maybe a little fishing... but what else? I found a cou...

Re: UA A320 gear collapse at EWR
While it beats the crap out of a firey death, these situations have to be a living hell for the passengers. Well at least they were not watching live coverage of their pending demise (which didnt happen)on the in flight "entertainment" like the case in LA about a year ago. Ypu're getting ...

in the linked picture above i can see skid marks to the end of the rwy, not surprising as they were trying the stop the big fast airplane, but perhaps an inop antiskid system could be contributory? I already posted on skidmarks in reply #16. Don't you people pay attention? Not really... we're enjoy...

Ah yes the MRTT, passing fuel and ready to be delivered to the RAAF by the middle of this year...Where exactly is the KC 767 in its USAF bib form flying? And how will they ...
