Re: Ed proofed wrong yet again.

I think this result will be as ground breaking as Ed's error about Calutrons. The team which found that neutrinos may travel faster than light has carried out an improved version of their experiment - and confirmed the result. If confirmed by other experiments, the find could undermine one of the b...

Re: Lavatory near disaster!

Good thing an Air Marshall didn't shoot the person pounding on the cockpit door.
Considering there was no air marshall on that flight, it would have been a hell of a shot!

Re: 2011 Rugby World Cup Thread

OK, so those c&^%suckers from the BBC ruined the Wales France match for me by posting the score in the newsfeed title AGAIN.

Good to see at least one positive outcome for the cost of my annual licence fee.
That they ruined the game for me or that they suck cack?

OK, so those c&^%suckers from the BBC ruined the Wales France match for me by posting the score in the newsfeed title AGAIN. So, before I did anything else today I watched the NZ-AUS match. I have to admit they both played a great game...lots of blood and guts like there should be...and NZ deser...

Re: 2011 Rugby World Cup Thread

So, I got caught up on all of my rugby. France over England? Seriously?? Wales v Ireland was a good match and Wales deserved the win Australia over RSA was a shocker since they Australia played like crap in the early games The Argentina v New Zealand match did not reflect the fact that New Zealand p...

Re: Toilet Break Nearly Ends in Tragedy

I know it sounds kind of silly to wave the 'Security' flag, but I really don't want to get into how we normally get in and out of the cockpit.
Doesn't sound silly to me.

Re: 2011 Rugby World Cup Thread

Canada went down 79-15 to the All Blacks. Ed boys succeeded in lulling in the other teams. They will be back in four years to beat the All Blacks 28-3. Indeed. After a humiliating defeat to Japan (a tie is a loss to Japan), this was inevitable. At least we messed with them a little bit, and showed ...

Re: 2011 Rugby World Cup Thread

Just finished watching the Argentina vs. Scotland soccer match. The only time they actually passed the ball, they scored. Duh.

I think Madame Olga's School for Blind Cricketers would have stood a chance against either side.

If Argentina does not get healthier, they are going to lose.

Re: 2011 Rugby World Cup Thread

OK, so just finished watching NZ vs. France Now, I don't care who wins against France including Al Qaeda RFC, as long as they beat France. NZ did not disappoint. Of course, the result was inevitable, so I am not sure why they even played. The score looked a lot better for France than it really was: ...

BIG UPSET OF THE RWC

Australia beat the USA

There is still a chance for the Australians to get into the top 5, and of course for their players to get some more (aboriginally inspired) tattoos.

Re: 2011 Rugby World Cup Thread

Indeed - although the score is impressive the game SA played was not so. Except for the last 15 minutes it was quite mediocre and that was only because Namibia fell apart. We can help Canada with a cricket world cup as well. Instead of our lilly-white "rejects" going to England to boost t...

Mr Ed, the overhead bins are first come first serve, there isn't enough space there for the two or three pax bags from the seats below them. The area below the seat in front of you is "yours." P.S. Don't blame it on your wife!!! And, don't touch my bag if it's there first! No, the overhead...

Re: 2011 Rugby World Cup Thread

Just finished watching RSA v. Namibia. Now, you would think that the score would be in the high 200's,...but no. Actually, I am not sure if Namibia played well or RSA played bad. I think RSA dropped their level to match Namibia. Also, I think some of the squad selections are somewhat dubious - sure,...

Re: 2011 Rugby World Cup Thread

I finally got around to watching the Australia-Ireland match, thinking that it was going to be the best match of the RWC so far based upon comments. What a load of crap. Australia played horrible rugby and the entire game was penalty kicks. What happened to Australia rugby? I think some of these pla...
