Re: Military Intelligence (Serious thread)
I don't know what means the US is using, but I remember, earlier in the war, news attributing some Ukrainian victories on Russian communications being easily intercepted because they were using non encrypted radio and cellphones. I ASSume that is Not_always the case, of course, especially after the...

Re: China Eastern 737 down
"The trailing edge of the right winglet was recovered about 12km from the main impact site." There was some contradictory discussion there. They have a winglet picture with the top gone, as opposed to the trailing edge. The picture showed a few feet of the wing and winglet in very good co...

I find this new and slightly grim piece of information quite interesting. A winglet departing in an uncontrolled fashion, causing .... well, major damage to the wing... catastrophic failure?

Re: The chemtrail people are at it again
I know! Most deaths happen by inhalation where even moderate quantities are lethal. Ingestion is safer but in large quantities it can cause an imbalance of electrolytes that can lead to cardiac failure. Exposure to skin can cause or worsen hypothermia, which can also be deadly. WHY THEREFORE HAS TH...

Please describe the nature of your dissatisfaction with his analysis. It does appear clear, concise and knowledgeably sourced. He prefaces speculation with suitable language. So, he started with "San Jose' s Costa Rica Airport". I stopped listening after that. That is a fairly minor sin, ...

Re: The chemtrail people are at it again
Look, take it from me. This chemical if used incorrectly is extremely dangerous. I know for a fact that it is responsible for the deaths of hundreds if not thousands of people every year. I know! Most deaths happen by inhalation where even moderate quantities are lethal. Ingestion is safer but in l...

Re: The chemtrail people are at it again
This is no joke, this post is 100% accurate. Scientific analysis show that chemtrails are real and are mostly made of a dangerous chemical called DHMO (di-hydrogen monoxide) that kills thousands of people per year. And it is also known that very large amounts of DHMO were found both in the torrenti...

I'm absolutely serious. I actually do this. I didn’t doubt you, nor did Not_Karls expected, enjoyed and humourous embellishments affect my belief… I’d also bet that you might make summary statements that, in spite of pilots being such idiots, stats say it’s better than car driving and bicycle ridin...

Re: Sliced in two, you say? Costa Rica 757
Referenced there , with Boeing Bobby suggesting an intentional reverse thrust on one engine to spin out instead of running off the end... If true, I say "Beautiful" and no one did died- except for the aeroplanie  Perhaps due to 0 (or grossly inadequate) PSI to the brakes? By the way,...

Don't forget to monitor the flaps and slats so you can inform a flight attendant. A overhead locker came open during taxing to take off, I took this a a portent of doom ,I was too slow in informing the nearby flight attendant (who had a weird seat by the new emergency exit that means he is boxed in...

Where did it take you to? I haven't been on RyanScare since before the pandemic!Didn't Died.
However l noted the aircraft is so unsafe they added an extra pair of emergency exits to aid escape during vertical death dives.
