Re: Security measures turning aganist us... again.
A video system tries to catch fire and cause a total air disaster. Moscow's Transport Prosecution Office reported there was sparking and smoke pollution from the video surveillance equipment due to a wiring/insulation fault. Video surveillance equipment? What/who are they surveilling? Maybe a trans...

Security measures turning aganist us... again.
A video system tries to catch fire and cause a total air disaster. Proposed solution : Ban all security systems, including cockpit door locks -or, better still, cockpit doors entirely... so we can see and stop the pilots when they start monkeying with something-. -----------------------------------...

3WE , there : No one bit on my suggestion that the stall warning (or a slow warning) kicks in sooner... Instead of a " total near stall!! " warning, I suggest an " everything's OK! " alarm sounding all the time , except when a near/total air disaster approaches . The 737 and its...

Re: Squid lures 737 into sea.
That photo has a resemblance with our new AIRDISASTER.INFO logo. It can be just a coincidence .... ...or maybe the logo was a warning . I fear Sickie might be the Leader of the Superior Cephalopods . planes are often not that good at off-roading. On one hand, a cheap composite crackerbox probably w...

Redundant pilots
https://forums.jetphotos.com/showthread ... -of-the-FO
I would say that halving the number of stupid monkey pilots should also halve the chances of one of them screwing up (or locking the other out of the cockpit). Discuss.

Re: F.A.O.: 3WE
Uros Drapsin , there : What are your guys opinions on this? Would like to hear your thought? Is it because they are tired , or because they are the typical stupid monkey cowboy stick-and-rudder, procedure-regulations-and-safety-stomper, CB-fiddling asshat pilots ? And what kind and intensity of phy...

Re: New AD Logo for 2018
I don't know. Stupid monkey pilots could visit this website during important phases of flight and be confused...The logo does not have to have "airdisaster.info" in it. We all know where we are.

Re: New AD Logo for 2018
I think the right choice was made Disconcur ; however, my warped humour will make it livable. One semi-serious issue, as Flyboy used to point out liberally, I am not all that smart, and this logo definitely needs some text that says, "AirDisaster.info"...otherwise, I will not know if I am...

Re: SOMEWHAT Relentless Pull Ups...
We should install those airflow indicator thingies on all commercial aeroplanies so we can push our bring-a-hostie buttons and/or run to the cockpit if something looks total-air-disastery!

Does he even understand the concept ? Re: 2017 - Safest year in aviation history?
Indeed. We should have more total air disasters to have more data points!Though drawing conclusions when the rarity of events makes data points so scarce is somewhat debatable.

Re: Dec. 24, 2017: First flight of the AVIC AG600
A few years ago, the boss grabbed the corporation’s Falcon Trijet for our department of 12 or so. Did you died? I'm jealous :x . Of course there's the constant fear of an in-flight structural break-up within 18 minutes , whatever automation it has going HAL and the PTSD if you're lucky enough to su...

Sydney Seaplanes' crash Wikipedia article.
Wikipedia. The airline seems to have a somewhat crashy record...And a Grand Caravan crashed in Costa Rica, 12 fatalities .
That's discrimination. All aircraft should be banned equally.Ban all smaller aircraft.

Re: Dec. 24, 2017: First flight of the AVIC AG600
INDEED , I stand corrected. But the HS is Not_American, so both it and the Falcon are copies of the 727  . I'll assume this is irony/humour/sarcasm/satire or whatnot as the Trident design predates the 727. INDEED , We are torturing 3WEie  . Cf. The first non-stop flight across the...
