http://dudeknowsbest.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/traditional-paper-airplane.jpg No possibility of interesting thrust-reverser deployments :(. But you missed the best point: in spite of lacking sophisticated computerized protection, that design completely eliminates all hazards associated with ru...

Also, some site are not permanent, which means many posts now have dead links to vani...

Still here. I've been "ejected" (with Charles, same topic was the reason of the violent and permanent jettison) from Ad.Com but hey, no regrets. I certainly miss some members who DID follow us here but then... poof!

...years ago when blaming America was all the rage :D. Just FYI you're still allowed to blame America. But we now charge a fee, and require a credit card number in advance. I think blaming Canada is still free , but not nearly as enjoyable. Be careful, I control fees in that part of the world, alth...

Re: F.A.O.: Ancient Mariner

I've seen the same "stress" effect in an MD80 (IIRC) a while ago while flying from Las Vegas to Toronto. The tube was flexing like that although in a lesser extend and with a higher frequency. I was with a FOF guy, so I told him only a few days later... I personally was quite impressed, if...
