Re: Airbus sucks too
Well, Lukla is at about 9000ft. So depending where you were, you might have been at a lower altitude than in Peru. I know how high I was, and bear in mind, if your destination airport is at 100 feet as, you don't cruise there at 100 feet. Per Going to Lukla? Likely not mote than 12500ft (and probab...

Re: The PROPER way to run an airline.
Was offered an upgrade AF, Business to First, LAX -CDG, '95. Asked if could smoke there, answer no. Thanks, but no thanks.
Ten mins later, "Mr. Bertelsen, it's OK, you may smoke in our First, you will be the only one there."
Happy days.

Harsh but fair. That's me. Per Per, what exactly is going on in this video - I have no context - but this sort of thing seems unusual. Miscommunication? Equipment failure? Vodka? But is nice and quiet, we could talk normally in the engine room while the triple compound engine was running at max.Steam is most beautiful and massive.
However, I also get the feeling it is HHHHUUUUGGGGEEEELLLLYYYY inefficient.

Re: No More Articles about the P210N
On a second thought... 1250 lb of useful load A cruise speed of 200 kts with a stall speed of 53 kts. A rate of climb of 2000 fpm A range of 2600 NM Is not a typical combination of characteristics for a certified airplane. Especially not one with an empty weight of 1600 lb and 200 HP. I kinda doubt...

Re: Tourist hell i chopper crashes.
Should all helicopteries have ejectable rotors and ballistic parachutes ? Should I make crude drawings of this and present them there as a revolutionary idea to make Not_fixed-wing-aviation safer ? (I'm missing that kind of posts...) Yes, you should. The question is... will you? Of course Not _ :P ...
