Re: STS-122

But I think the shuttles will be retired when I will have the time to get to see one. About 12 more launches to go. NASA is adamant that the last launch will take place by 9/30/10, with no exceptions, though I wouldn't be surprised to see some later launches given the inevitable slippages. They are...

Re: Outta here

My guess would be that *you* insulted him by not inviting him to be a moderator of the military aviation forum, as he had recently acquired this duty at ASF (F.U. Kilroy) and was also at same at the temp place. Since he is hot to trot and highly participating in military aviation, it was probably an...

Re: FAO Everyone

"Who was always calm, and polite at AD.com", I'll vote for Don.
If it is warm, dark and smelly where you are right now, you may want to get someone to give your shoulders a tug, and then stand up straight.

Re: FAO Everyone else - also important

Just to clarify, as I educated the forum on this before. It is possible to read PMs on any of the BBs. It is not generally a native feature, but it is possible. PMs are simply a database, and there are tools that you can add-in, even to phpBB, that allows "management" of PMs by high level...

Re: New moderators

GerryW, don't confuse "nagging" with a desire for things to work. All I want is for this forum to succeed. If that sounds like me nagging, then I'm sorry. This is a new forum and my view is that it's better to have a fresh blood for moderators rather than have people who, as you say, have...

Re: New moderators

I actually feel we are going down the wrong road here with Don Moore being made a moderator. Did we not learn from the mistakes made at AD.com? Don has his place on the forum, but surely not as a moderator. The opportunity was presented here to facilitate a fresh new start. Let's not blow it. I hav...
