Re: Speed / Red Light Cameras

A number of states (including MN) outlawed them. I have to applaud NY mayor Bloomberg, who classified red-light camera violations as parking violations. You get caught with one of those, $50 fine, no points. So, naturally, nobody fights it. Smart man. Same in Houston, except the fine is $75.00. As ...

Rattler
Indeed. I'f I'm a pilot, I want to know if the vibration started 40 or 41 secs into the takeoff roll, within a quarter click.

Re: Why The Chineese Love Fake Rolex Watches

Upon reflection, I think I see why we disagree. Some of the cheaper fakes (there are differences in fakes) do jerk from second to second. My fake Rolex though is electric continual. It is a smooth continual movement. My real Rolex has four "jerks" per second which to some people looks cont...

Re: Why The Chineese Love Fake Rolex Watches

Nope. Real Rolex has four clicks per second. Fake is continual. Look at both under a loop. I have a real and a fake. The real one has box and registration papers. The difference between the two? The fake (and its a good one) is prettier and keeps far better time. Jewelers have had the back off both ...

Some athletes are using it as it appears to circulate more blood at higher altitudes. I use it for a bad case of sunburn and and when sailing.

Cowboy fans may be irritating, but I don't believe there is a jail in Texas Stadium, as was found in another stadium.

Saturday morning 2:20 am - winds @ 70mph. 3:30 am - @ 100mph gusting to 120? Like being in a tornado for 6 hours. Very scary. Far more devastation than you are seing on the news. Galveston has tremendous damage and everything on Bolivar peninsula is essentially wiped clean. I live near downtown Hous...

Re: Off and running....

Gald you had a good time. This weekend, I watched Mexican NASCAR on a mexican station (why is it that with all satellite and cable companys out here in Houston, Mexican stations still come through the cables?), which was really quite funny to listen to. Of course, all the cars were stolen.

Being a good and loyal Texian, I've been to the Alamo about 20 times. I have a lot of books and files on the subject. I had no relatives that fought there, but did have one present at San Jacinto. Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Denmark, England, Germany, Georgia, Illinois, Ireland, Kentucky, Louisi...
