Re: Keep airdisaster.info alive?
I could totally make this happen
Have you ever considered AD.info merch as a source of funding? I suggest t-shirts with "PULL UP" written on the front and "RELENTLESSLY" on the back.

Airdisaster.info is closing
A short note to Airdisaster.info members: It’s incredible to think that it’s now ten years since I took over airdisaster.info. Over that time I have initially repaired the very broken installation, ported the data onto a new hosting platform, created a custom “skin” and ensured it is regularly updat...

Re: ground incident at Lima
I was trying to be funny given the charring underneath the plane - it looks toasted :--) That's what I thought, but for a minute I wasn't sure if you were not honestly asking if the plane is going to be a write-off. Surely, you can’t be serious! I wonder if anything will be "parted out"?

ground incident at Lima
https://avherald.com/h?article=5013c619&opt=0 This one really is fascinating - my guess is poor / disrupted communications with the tower during a drill - leading to a catastrophic collision (for the occupants of the fire truck) very unpleasant to watch - glad that the loss of life was not very ...

they get you on the exclusions!!Ban all structures!
On an only slightly less humorous note, when I bought my first house many years ago, I actually read my homeowners' insurance policy. I was amused to discover it explicitly covered damage "due to spacecraft"... so that was nice.

Re: LGW - EFL
The sink is remarkably small and really not fit for purpose. If you get a chance to investigate on an A320neo, I recommend it for the giggle. I would really like to, the last aerosink I had the pleasure to investigate was this, probably in the year 2000 :( (pictures are from 1998). I'm sure I had a...
