Lavatory near disaster!
As comical as it all sounds, I can understand the problem the F/O was facing.....his Captain has gone missing in the back of the plane and is not communicating with him, and some guy is pounding on the cockpit door. There's ATC audio in the full article link, and the F/O sounds rational and calm. He...

Re: Unsure what to bring on Thanksgiving?
What should I bring (other than the hooker, silly)? Well, good conversation around the Thanksgiving table is the key to a family gathering, so try these opening lines: "Hey everybody, my therapist has helped me recover some repressed memories of Uncle Rob touching me inapropriately" Or Ta...

Re: 787 troubles, the latest news..
ANA's training program for initial groups of pilots flying the twin-engine 787 Dreamliner takes about five weeks , ANA officials said. By contrast, Chicago-based Boeing for years has promised airlines that one of the new aircraft's major advantages would be short and relatively simple training requ...

LINK: American Airlines pressurization problem You have to sit through a 15 second advert befor the video, but it's worth watching the full 5 minutes. The issue as I see it, is not that they developed a pressurization problem. My guess is that they somehow screwed up the Bleed switches or the Packs....
