Re: ATR, Nepal, Jan 2023

...sometimes, trucks attack bicycles. Ban them both  :x and also ALL aeroplanies . They did, eventually. It didn't work because a) extreme bank angle and, as lesser, contributing factors b ) too late and c ) go around doesn't work very ell with feathered props, you tend to stall-spin-crash-bur...

A vertically installed X-59 with its nose painted red would look like a garden gnome.

Cool!

But... an aircraft longer than a 737-100 that carries only what... one passenger? Oddly the article doesn't discuss it, but I bet it doesn't even have space for carryon luggage. You say it like it was bad... A lot less passengers terrorized/killed per flight and way faster evacuations :cl...

No tengo idea.

Never heard that phrase en mi cuello del bosque nor can I deduce its meaning.
Google doesn't produce meaningful results for "perro de jamón significado".
Sorry :(

Re: A320 Troubles, Latest News

It is instructive to note that the morally bankrupt eurocommies that run Air Bus even sold airplanes to the Iranians in the first place.

F.A.O.: Verbie

One of America's finest legal minds is also suggesting Loctite, there. Maybe Boeing should hire us as consultants.

Re: JetPhoto Pre-Screening Thread...

I'm beginning to think the best number of engines for a (new) 737 would be zero... that would keep it on the ground and it would have far fewer problems. Fewer problems maybe , but won't keep them from crashing . As Evanie said, they're cursed (he said it about the Max series, but I extend it to th...

Did any bolts fall off the 737s?
Fixed. I don't know, but with both aeroplanies being Ancientliners -one of them a dreaded Max-, I'm ready to blame Verbie for this incident.

From AvieHeraldie....

On Jan 9th 2024 Alaska Airlines reported a number of their B39M aircraft showed loose parts during the inspections following the door plug separation, too. Maybe Boeing should increase the frequency and intensity of Verbie and PPie 's physical punishments ; they appear to be very distracted ...

Mee too, but thanks to them interwebz I have discovered other options. Example: if a passenger moves you use zip-ties.

To avoid off-topic in the 737 Mcas thread...

I wonder if the ATC person used to work in tech support and all they know how to do is read a script? -"Have you tried restarting the aeroplanie or powering it off then on again ?" Have you hacked my computer (or telephone)? You should ax Comrade Snappy . I was given some wrong acc...
