What's wrong with "Left" and "Right" runway designations?
Ok, I get it, Dallas and Atlanta and Denver and now Chicago have too many parallel runways...so they cheat and number some of them 10 degrees off of what they would traditionally be... But why in the hell would some place like XNA not simply use "16 Left" and "16 Right"? http://1...

Well darn, just as we develop a budding friendship razzing Brian and Evan, you go all serious and diplomatic and that questionably accurate, male-menopausal, supposed 747-super-guppy operator, fellow ATP dude suddenly likes you... even though you drive a 'Bus with a magenta line in it.

Re: Russian Airliner Down
Aft pressure bulkhead fails due to fatigue cracking that initiates at site of structural repair following 2001 tail strike. Pressure wave into aft body blows tail off the airplane. Plane tumbles through the air, breaking apart on descent. Hope this helps. Nah, it was a dual ELAC failure. I screwed ...

Re: F.A.O.: Flyboy
Do you have any ideas how airplanes work, or is it all just spider webs and magic to you? Oh c'mon, it's simple! You pull up, you go flying. You pull up relentlessly, and you go crashing. No, you have to memorize tons of acronyms, rules, regulations and checklists, and then not forget how to ...

Correction. 3BS strikes again. Two too many seats and a few too many knots to be a LSA. ...-The plane of the month is yet another high-winged, strutted, conventional gear, C-172-clone... Nevertheless, Cessna should pay off some politicians, get the 152 LSA designation, and restart the line. It'd be ...

Re: Russian Airliner Down
How many crashes have their been from tail strikes and blown out back bulkheads?
Time for some decent tail skids and structure to support them!
And no more composites, FBW nor lithium batteries!
Ban all airplanes!

In today's news, Les Abend looks at a flight tracking website and concludes that there was an aerodynamic stall. Flight Report- and request for Flyboy/Dummy reply
I didn’t died and takeoff flaps were set before forward movement on all flights and IFE was good visibility, few clouds and map and GPS apps on my Android (operated with airplane mode on). But I have one genuine, slightly-strange occurrence to report and one humorous one. Strange occurrence: While l...

Re: Dramatic Photos of Dynamic Airliner Fire
For some reason, I think I now have a "no-fly list" (not that I'd ever have a need to fly these guys).
Excrement transpires, but to start laying down big-ass puddles of jet fuel, methinks the maintenance might not be up to par.

Good to see you're still around. Please correct me, or better yet flame me for my misunderstandings. Thanks in advan...
