Notice: At the advice of Not_Karl , and inspiration from the pedantic jabbing of Gabriel that in a constant descent a high-lift wing does not_produce more lift, I am (hopefully) trolling Boing Bobby to see if he will bite on the old downwind-turn 'paradox'. Re: F.A.O.: 3WE

Not popcorn-worthy so far :( . Gabriel, the hell better aeroengineer, is engaged. If you critically analyze Boeing Bobbieee's words, he states that a plane will lose airspeed from gaining the tailwind, however in his 500,000 thousand hours of multiple aircraft, including a Piper Cub, he has never f...

Maybe I was not clear...we had slowed a BUNCH...reversed and returned to idle...it was the last third of the roll out...AND THEN the speed brakes were REDEPLOYED.

In our modern PC world, does the aforementioned cryptic, insider acronym still exist?

Should it not be NOTAPS?

Thanks in advance.

Flight Report from Flyover to KPHL

Questions in Red. Outbound: Republic E-170,[/b] One of 7:00AM specials (not quite as bad as the 6:00 AM specials). After boarding I feel a thud/shudder at the same time there's a noise of a whiny hydraulic? motor lugging down to a near-complete stop...this happens about three or four times. Shortly...

It IS amazing, though, how quickly the structure disintegrated once the tailfin was out of the picture.
...but not that dissimilar from some of those aerobatic planes and maybe that Brasilia that lost their horizontal stabilizers.

I do not...

...as to the topic of the thread, I think this is a near-perfect example of why we need more regulations for back up reservation computer systems!

Was it Sickbag that expressed this exact sentiment in our own forum here...the forum of superiour aviation intellect and humour?

Edit: Indeed, it was Sickbag...he should contact The Onion and ask for royalties for having the idea first.

That's not particularly enlightened.

Are you a USA citizen and like football played with an elliptical ball that is carried and thrown more than kicked and cricket that has four bases and 90-degree field of play?

Shouldn't that be 205 KW?

For the area, quite a normal landing. Per Indeed . I continue to consider seeking employment there. Of course, sooner or later, my old-fashioned absent mindedness (pretty average in that category) ...
