Re: Cleared For Touchdown 3 Thread
Go Pugnacious Pilots (which means "Go E-A-G-L-E-S!" since at this point I've got more riding on the Eagles winning then the Pilots)! Thank you to the Eagles. Now just have to hope that Aaron Rodgers doesn't have the game of a lifetime for 46 points. Yeah.. that didn't happen but what did ...

Verbal's announcement on the 12/15 test flight date Confirmed for 10 A.M. on 12/15. I'll be in town for meetings and will be sure to post updates as I can. Update: Most likely a no-go as there is a 80%+ chance of rain. For those here on AD.info with internet access , you can follow the 787 First Fl...

Rumor has it that there is a missing 787... was it repo'd? Verbal can you confirm? Probably in one of the hangars that Boeing leased at PAE to do the side of body retrofits. My sources have checked all of the nooks & crannies of PAE... can't be found. I'll get more info as to airframe # , etc o...

Re: Boeings handouts exposed!
Semiconductor tools cost about the same as a 747 and the companies I work certainly do not leverage EX-IM as much. I am not sure I know what a “semiconductor tool” is, but do they cost $200m or more per unit ? Computer w/ software Wrong. A semiconductor tool is the integrated components that form a...

Great pics & vids of the a400.... lets hope that the program is a success. I see so much risk that should have been mitigated early on in the program.

Re: Boeings handouts exposed!
I'm not sure what the point of the article is, since all governments (as Per says) have export credit agencies designed to promote, support and finance their exports. Nothing new, nothing unusual. As for Boeing, one reason they are a major beneficiary of US Eximbank is simply that commercial airlin...

Re: Boeings handouts exposed!
Boeing customers have used funds from the Ex-Im bank and the World bank to finance airplane purchases for decades. Have you been asleep all that time? (Speaking of gummint handouts, see the A400M thread.) I know of the Ex-Im... I did not know that one company (Boeing) had almost 40% of their annual...

Norway could kill hundreds more minke whales next year. Lisbeth Berg-Hansen, the country's fisheries minister, announced on Friday that Norwegian whalers would be allowed to catch 1286 of the marine mammals in 2010 – up from 885 this year. http://msnbcmedia1.msn.com/j/msnbc/Components/Photos/040129...
