Mine arrived.
Yes, the paper was thick.
I didn’t like it.
Yes, I was behind on back issues.
Am I the only one seeing some fun ironing in Sam using judgement?
I decided not to renew. The magazine has gotten stale.

Always remember that, Gabriel. Always.Besides, he is an airline captain charged with doing this kind of judgement calls. I am not. I can write as much as I want in an internet forum but that's as far as I can go.

Feel free to ask that question in the appropriate forum.
Flyboy should be able to explain all that to us... if he wants.

Huhwha?
It made me think back to that wing scrape, where it came to light that Air Bus roll authority is halved after touchdown

Re: What the...?
It's not common, but it happens. A number of airlines have bizjets in their fleet and those airplanes sometimes use airline flight numbers rather than aircraft tail numbers. In general, 8000 or 9000 series flight numbers are reserved for non-revenue flying.

Re: Harrowing screams form Learjet pilot
And you'd be already established on final by then or you can be already at Vref and still have significant turns to make? (like base to final) (Sorry, I intended to ask at what point in the circuit pattern rather than what altitude, I realize that I was not clear) I can carry as much as Vref+15 if ...

Re: Airbus Fights Qatar
Among the things in which I am absolutely not an expert is commercial aviation business. But it just occurred to me that Boeing should develop 2 new times concurrently, like they did with the 757 and 767, except that this time it would be the new 737 and 757. The new 737 would return to the roots. ...

Re: Harrowing screams form Learjet pilot
If you have to do a pattern (be it an IFR circling approach or a VFR circuit pattern) that, for any reason (visibility, terrain, traffic) would not allow for a long final, what speed and flap / gear config would you have at each stage? In particular, at what point would you have the plane fully con...

Re: Harrowing screams form Learjet pilot
Couple words about circling in general. In the US, it's a fairly rare maneuver. Perhaps because it's not required very often, most runways with any significant amount of traffic in this country have at least one straight-in approach of SOME kind. Hence, I would imagine most professional pilots, exce...
