And the government threw a shitstorm about CEOs of private companies flying around on Citations and Gulfstreams?
Yes, but most corporations aren't hauling the capability to launch a global thermonuclear first strike with them at all times. Maybe Google.

Re: Friday Maths Problem

"Substantial Derivative" says: dT/dt = (partial T / partial t) + (partial R / partial t)*(partial T / partial R) So for the person walking toward the fire: dT/dt = 4/r + (-2)*(-4t/r^2) = 4/2 + (-2)*(-4*10/(2*2)) = 2 + 20 = 22 degrees per second The person walking tangentially to the fire:...

Put a idiot in a model T or in a Prius ,they are still going to crash (especially if they are fat.)
But the copious padding of their incredible bulk will let them survive and go to starbucks another day!

Re: Helmet Cam mounted to Nosegear of 747

It's definitely a 747-200, when the aircraft lifts off, you can see the shadow of the wingtip HF antenna.

I liked watching the body gear steering in action while it made its turns on the taxiway.

Found out, DEN was closed to incoming traffic for over an hour this morning due to fog, had quite a few diversions into COS, types usually never seen here except for when Ft. Carson is deploying.
