One of the worst fire disaster was a NW DC-9 that had a known problem that they screwed around with at altitude until it became clear it was bad shit . Half the people died and half survived . Shadey, I'm still trying to figure out what NW DC-9 you're talking about. AC 797 had that scenario in 1983...
