If you are looking to refinance your mortgage...and it appears that the Fed will be cutting rates, the time to re-finance and catch the best rates are in the days leading up to the Fed meeting.

Not after.

And, definitely not a week later while waiting for the Fed to cut a second time thinking rates will be even better!

Oh well...lesson learned.
