Never mind, Norway won the godamned contest which means we have to host the spectacle next year and that media will be full of this crap for 12 months.

Re: European Song Contest
A good deal of vodka helped me survive the evening. We had good friends over and started off with a bit of Russian food, vodka being the only drink to go through the whole evening.
At least it wasn't the worst song that won, what a load of really crap 'music' that was allowed into the competition. As usual.
Oh, by the by, didn't vote for anyone, does that entitle me to a shot of Akkevit?
PP, the Eurovision Song Contest is a yearly event where songs compete to be voted the best song of the year. Big show, and this year's show from Moscow was the glitziest ever. You can see more about it at http://www.eurovision.tv

Re: European Song Contest
It was a reasonably good show. Shame about the Ruskies leaving the arena in droves before the end!
