Barack Hussain - the young entomologist in brass

Postby Peter_K » Thu Dec 10, 2009 8:28 pm

This is no joke. He now has his first monument. In Indonesia where he spent his youth they unveiled a monument to Barack Hussain where he is depicted as a 10 year old boy gently stroking a butterfly. I have a mixed fillings. It looks like something that would put Uncle Dale in heat.

PS. Anybody know what medal is the young Barack sporting on his chest?

Are you kidding me?

I'm sorry but can somebody please list Obama's long list of achievements during his first year as a president? I mean, other than being black?

Had a beer with that black prof and white cop.

Having a beer isn't too bad of an accomplishment.

His "Hope" portrait is the center of a huge copyright infringement between Shepard Fairey[the photo tracing "aritst"] and the Associated Press who took the original photo.

I don't know if that really counts as an accomplishment, though.

The last guy didn't have beer in the White House. He barely survived pretzels.

That incident annoyed me. They could have at least had Sam Adams, now the largest American owned brewery instead of that Belgian Bud Light....

My biology grad student friends tell me that different types of alcohol don't actually have different effects. I trust their expertise, not because of the 'biology' part, but because of the 'grad student'.

He became role model for Indonesian youth convincing them that if they work and study hard enough and take precautions to hide their birth certificates, they too some day may become Americas' presidents.

I suggest that we, the members of airdisaster.info, compose an inspired commentary to go on a plaque to adorn this statue.

Here is my first stab:

Oh butterfly, you and ITS are true masters of flight.

And I have great hope that you two will work together to develop freighters that do not depend upon fossil fuels to fly.

And that we might take governmental control of Boeing and then launch a collaborative effort with Air Bus to develop green airliners for the whole world.

And when the Muslim and Communist world see this, then they will come to America and plant more flowers for the butterfiles.

Other suggestions?

Barely a month later....
Indonesia mulls tearing down Obama statue(AFP) – 1 day ago

JAKARTA — Indonesian authorities said Monday they are considering a petition to tear down a statue of US President Barack Obama as a boy, only a month after the bronze was unveiled in Jakarta.

The statue of "Little Barry" -- as Obama was known when he lived in the capital in the late 1960s -- stands in central Jakarta's Menteng Park, a short walk from the US president's former elementary school.

Critics say the site should have been used to honour an Indonesian and 55,000 people have joined a page on social networking website Facebook calling for the statue to be removed.

"We've been discussing for the past two weeks what to do with the statue... whether to take it down, move it elsewhere or retain it. We're finding the best solution," Jakarta parks agency official Dwi Bintarto said.

Perhaps the statue can be moved to Garuda's headquarters. That should give jetpedophiles enough material for a couple of years at least.

They should be able to workout some sort of compromise. Maybe get rid of Barry and leave the Lepidoptera on the pedestal?
