I don't see what the problem is- none of those guys around him appear to Brianie.

Brianie would have to fight Not_only him, but also those filming him with their phones...

I was thinking that a meteorite impact on the rear of the plane might have pushed it down making the nose to go uncontrollably up, but I also like Evanie's theory.

Elvis did NOT_did died!

Postby 3WE » Mon Jul 23, 2018 2:35 pm

My memory is not 100% accurate.

BUT

December 2017 (+/-) someone experienced a bad weather day at Heathrow (which of course sucked WRT his travel plans and times).

They posted about said experience, there.

And some folks made obligatory replies about how much the aerospace system and it's customer service sucks. (Bad weather can do that).

AND THEN

Roughly 2 weeks ago (Early July 2018, +/-) a forumite named ATLCrew posted:
In other news, Elvis is still dead
Today, (Late July 2018) that post appears to be gone.

I therefore conclude, that Elvis is very much alive.

I also conclude that it is a strange place, there.

You're welcome.

That is all.

...and on a slightly different topic.

MY thesis is that liveries can be pretty or ugly and I have opinions and all, but it ain't all THAT important.

Anyone support me?

I am reasonably confident that the Elvis news was ALSO recently posted on the Heathrow thread and then maybe deleted by the moderators-of-poor-humour.

Who is davey?

Postby 3WE » Thu Sep 20, 2018 10:55 pm

I guess this should be acknowledged on the grand repository of jetpics tomfoolery.

Some sort of ex military person...has pilot license, but I haven't figured out if he was ever paid to do so.

Seems a bit black and white in his thinking- and has a few strange ideas- in particular that JP might have a full video sequence of the twin going from flight to death dive (with some way to time stamp it to tower tapes). I guess it's not totally crazy to think that a forum of jetpicturetakers has individuals from every airport videoing every operation- (and then the photos come from a frame grab?)

Flight Report

Postby 3WE » Tue Oct 16, 2018 11:06 pm

Important jetphoto: This is Flyover INTERNATIONAL Airport.

I will have to try and get a genuine jetphoto of a big purple plane sometime (but they don't fly on Tuesdays and I'll be back after tomorrow's departure.

As to my flight, I went to Omaha. They made the Hosthes and Hosties stay seated due to about 4 min of bumps somewhere around 30K.

Used an I-phone and Google maps to identify small flyover towns.

Several disturbing occurrences on the return flight from Omaha.

The pilots made two or three relentless pull ups (according to my opinion), after lift off and then twice during the "cruise phase" as we were cleared to higher altitudes.

Also, in the first two miles after takeoff, there was a very large flock of geese below us.

Sightseeing was nice (And the poorly-maintained SWA fan blades and shimmy dampers did not did_break).

Finally, upon my return, I learned that WOW airlines is pulling out in January. Back to Flyover TECHNICALLY International Airport.

No more purple planes and economical, non-stop rides to Reykjavik. AND, serious moment, seemed like a OK business idea...nice out of the way midpoint hub & spoke to funnel Oboxious Americans from all over the USA out to see numerous Eurotrash locations and vice versa.

In case you didn't know, Flyover International Airport, while not actually in the City of Flyover, is owned (and I guess technically part of) Flyover.

Noteworthy surrounding municipalities include Bridgeton (which was half destroyed to build runway 11-29) and Ferguson.

We have been popping popcorn regarding recent geopolitical discussions. :)

Also, no more crew meals, coffee, discussions about each other's families etc.

Someone might want to posit to that candle and beacon of American jurisprudence that if an airplane crashed because the pilot was pitching a credit card, it probably would have crashed had he not been pitching a credit card also. Kinda like when they banned nail clippers. I figure someone who can hijack an airplane with a nail clipper can probably also do it without a nail clipper.

Wouldn't it be easier to just purchase a set of those $3,000 douchebag headphones and be oblivious to ALL PAs (and everything else, for that matter)?
