I need some help with this image...

I'm not completely sure, but think it has something to do with the metric system, otros lengues, and an extremely obscure and silly game of randomly kicking a ball around a field.

Something of no relevance to Los Estatos Unidos de' America (with some extra squiggly lines missing due to non-intuitive Windows architecture)

I am hoping that it only applies to England and Not_Argentina.

Muchos gracias, de antemano

no
and an extremely obscure and silly game of randomly kicking a ball around a field.
yes
When the referee shows the red card to a player, he/she/it must leave the game, leaving his/her/its team with one less player. It can be used directly in the case of a serious foul or other grave misbehaviour, or be the result of two yellow cards.
The yellow card is used for lesser offenses.
The usual causes for a yellow or red card include violent/dangerous actions, insulting the referee, etc. It is not unusual for favouritisms, corruption, distractions and tomfoolery to affect or unbalance card usage.

Yellow/red cards and The Internets:
Yellow/red cards in The Internets' Forums -with pictures like the one you posted- are sometimes used to denote different levels of disapproval, discontent or offense with something other person has written.

It should be noted that Not_Karl does not like and does not watch football (soccer) except for the Worldcup (in fact, he does not watch ANY sport except for the FIFA Worldcup and the Olympic Games) and does not take part in other internet forums, so all of the above explanations should be taken as parlour talk from an asshat.
I am hoping that it only applies to England and Not_Argentina.
Most of Europe and South America, actually  .

De nada ;) .

EDIT:
I had not reviewed today's actions there before posting. I should have known that your question was from something happening over there  .
It would appear that if 3WE and He Who Has Been Turned Blue In The Face By 3WE continue to argue, they are at the risk of being banned by He Who Has Gotten 3WE Under His Skin.

Hope this helps.

I added an explanation to my previous post, evidently too late.

Will our beloved Evanie and 3WEie be the next to sport a "Banned" title below their nicknames over there? :o  :(

I appreciate your efforts.

However, like Evan, you haven't really answered WHY you can do an ILS with one auto pilot but need two to go around.

Further argument is up to you. Like Gabriel, I do understand that, "Yes, Verbal Made that way" and maybe he should be asked.

Just do not tell me that you have answered the question.

Arreglado.
Fixed and CONCUR.
Verbie's reasons could very well be of the engineering kind.

(Fijo means something that does not have movement -for example: "fixed wing airplane" = "aeroplano de ala fija"- or is not_variable).

Un nuevo tema

Postby 3WE » Tue Apr 12, 2016 6:02 pm

Estoy buscando una palabra en español que capta el significado de la palabra inglesa 'sermonear' [/Espanol] (Pontificate).
You know, looking for those lengues-specific word-meaning procedures, to keep Flyboy and Gabe "out of the roast" I feel like we need to tell them both to take it easy.[/English]

Estoy buscando una palabra en español que capta el significado de la palabra inglesa 'sermonear' [/Espanol] (Pontificate).
"Sermonear" is to preach, both literally and figuratively.
I didn't know the figurative meaning of pontificate and had to google it. I was about to say that I don't know of a Spanish single-word equivalent, but decided to check its literal translation ("pontificar") just in case... And go figure, it shares the same figurative meaning and I was completely unaware :o .

I believe that "Sermonear" and "Pontificate" (or "pontificar") are close enough for these purposes.

Closer even than "In the roast"

AND

Much closer than "Take it easy"

Fotografía rechazada debido a la suavidad.

In spite of the extreme addiction to Nair, for some reason, those people cannot comprehend the concept of "take it easy".

Help!...Estoy en Puerto Rico Y my yahoo y Google la Espanol y me no habla.
I remember praising Google's English to Spanish translations some time ago and commenting on how they used to absolutely -and sometimes very comically- suck back in the day.

Later, I noticed strange, amusing errors when translating from silly European languages directly to Spanish, which made me believe that Google was translating first to English, and then the result to Spanish. (One case that comes to mind: I translated to Spanish the ingredients of a Czech bread. One of them came as "aceite de violación" . I then translated from Czech to English and the result was "rape oil". The correct translation of that rape (rapeseed) is colza or canola, "violación" is the sexual assault kind of rape... )

Today, a Korean friend sent me a long message in her language... The only part of it that makes any sense after Google-translating it is the first sentence, "I hope this makes sense when translated."

Oh, el planchado  .

I am spending the week with three of your fellow countrymen and have some items to report:

1) Your country also has ISGPestManagersOTM who wish to poison innocent plants, insects and fungi in spite of outside advice from wanna-be agronomists. Given your concerns, perhaps they will listen to you, more than I do.

2) They were interested in some sort of strange sports contest going on right now...I saw a real person who closely resembled that goofy emoticon Brian once threatened me with and I saw the real version do the same to one of the Chilean team members. I do not_understand this sport, but hope you do well. I was slightly perturbed as they changed the TV channel away from the Flyover US-style Cricket Club, who (fortunately) defeated the Seattle US-style Cricket Club.

3) When they talk, they sound nothing like Puerto Ricans. I may ask them to teach me a few Espanol phrases, but think it may be best to avoid the subject of taking it easy.

I doubt it. We are usually quite stubborn.

Oh, today is a day of national mourn. Sorrow, pain, anger, hatred and grief fill the atmosphere of social media.
Some want the players of our glorious national team hanged, some consider them heroes; internet frictions ensue between both factions. And there is Not_Karlie, who does not understand such strong emotions over a stupid foot...soccer match. Both groups consider him a stateless traitor who should be expelled from the country  .

On the bright side, we obliterated your national team a few days ago :D .
3) When they talk, they sound nothing like Puerto Ricans.
Indeed.
I may ask them to teach me a few Espanol phrases,
You could have asked Gabe and me...
but think it may be best to avoid the subject of taking it easy.
Good idea, especially considering yesterday's match results.
