F.A.O.: Les Abend

Postby 3WE » Mon Oct 17, 2016 8:52 pm

I recently saw a silly movie, A Million Ways to Die in the West (written by and starring one of Flyboy's favorite writers Seth McFarlane).

The relevance to cowboy pilots AND facial hair features is mildly amusing.

Mildly amusing is probably a little generous...

Wow...

...that is why I enjoy Flyboy & AD.info and dislike Evan.

I sincerely hope Mr McFarlane doesn't fall in the trap of so many before him of trying to play a little too far outside of his medium. I'm not sure feature film is where he really should be. Ted-1 worked well enough, Ted-2 was a cash grab, and this movie was just him trying too hard. It's not like he needs money...

McFarlane has always tried to do exactly that. FG was cancelled I believe three times (!), he has had forays into stop motion animation, several other TV shows, variety, cabaret and film.
