Wondering if anyone here is still in contact with Derf (Fred) from the old forums. He also ran a site called fromtheflightdeck[.]com that I fixed for him after "hackers" invaded and screwed it all up. Al Weaver was part of the site as well. After repairing the site, I helped administer it for a while but it kind of died from lack of interest finally.

I have no recent memories of Derf posts. Maybe a few posts on jet photos a year or two after the crash. I remember “flight deck”- I think I joined- it was an interesting few months of homelessness and who knows why we landed here. This place has had some rough months in recent years. I guess the internet lost its newness. Thanks to Frank and Monchie we limp along...

I'm glad this place is here! It's one of the few aviation related forums I visit.

It's a bit more than limping given the care and attention I have lavished on this joint since 2014!
