That reminds me also of how ad.info was advertised as opposed to how it turned out in reality.

Oh yes, we thought we had a pilot moderating a Q&A forum. But all we got was ... oh well, check those pictures again.

It's not so bad, el!

advertising X reality thread ad AD.inf

Recently I had a Hanuta and it didn't look like on this picture,

it looked like it should look. I would say that a lot of those products were fucked up or were 'enhanced' to look worse than in reality.

A singularly uninspired yet somehow consistent rejoinder.

Why not reach for cyber-greatness? We’ve witnessed occasional glimpses from you.

For example, to your latest insult it is only my sense of forum decency that prevents me from replying, “You Sir are but a bloviating cockalorum!”

I stayed square on-topic, it's our friend J who decided to get indignant, something he was always famous for, together with Ed.

Mr. Snappy, I take your counsel seriously and respect your sense of forum docorum. That said, please note the entirety of my comment (emphasis added):

"....it is only my sense of forum decency that prevents me from replying..."

I also challenge my flying opponent to back up his assertion and provide any examples of indignant remarks that I have contributed to these fora. Further I suggest that brushing me off with a gratuitous assertion will do little to make his case.

Following Mr. Snappy's wise example, and a restful night in a hotel, I would like to withdraw the above challenge and wish our flying friend well.

Tell me something, J, is your use of fifty-dollar words and formal sentence structure a clever mask for having not much of anything worthwhile to say? 'Cause that's how it looks from here.

Sometimes, just sometimes things turns out to be somewhat less than you expected.
Infuriating, isn't it.
