The part that caught my eye was the ironingly appropriate name of the new President of Nigeria, nee VP.
Goodluck Jonathan, indeed.

Well, that's fairly simple to work out. After replacing half of the cabinet (the half that didn't agree with him - known as an 'opposition' to the rest of us) he'll simply imprison on trumped up charges, or have murdered any political adversaries, then he will appoint his own "electoral commissioner" and or distribute heavily armed members of the military to "supervise" the voting and "escort" the ballot boxes back to the capital from those provinces that are not Goodluck supporters.

I'm predicting a strong resurgent vote for the new president as well as many swelling bank balances in the Cayman Islands and Switzerland for himself and his closest cronies - oh and the 'minor' matter of the rest of the populous being left to starve and descend into ever deeper poverty.
