Hell of a topic.
Country founded heavily on the freedom of religion.
Then again, are folks who lost people on 9/11 allowed to have some reservations.
Yeah, I know some wonderful, peace-loving Muslims, but I'm thinking the proportion of whacko Muslims who have a serious death-wish for all of Western Society is a bit more than the proportion of whacko Southern Baptists who have a serious death wish for all of Eastern Society.
Then again is it cool to build a Catholic church next to a concentration camp?
And, to hell with right or wrong, what's the chance that a whacko will bomb the mosque in retribution?
Finally, is there any way they Mosque can be forced to have a 9/11 memorial highlighting that it the 9/11 perpetrators were Muslim and how this Mosque will work tirelessly to fight anti-Western violence and support religious harmony....would that make it more ok?

It would be cooler to build it next to a kindergarten.

The whole debate to me seems like a contest between a bunch of biblethumping morons and raghead morons trying to outmoron each other. Kinda like similar contests between Gabriel and 3BS and just about as interesting.
