The 'problem' Norway has is that in order to be in the EEA the European Economic Area it has to implement all the EU standards and regulation but it has no say in how they are made. This is the big argument here in the UK about the dangers of being in the EU but having no influence.The other problem Scotland may have is that leaving the UK at the moment and aligning itself ever deep with the EU looks like jumping out of the frying pan into the fire.

The Airbus A380 is the perfect analogy of the EU:
Its too big.
It keeps running into things.
No one is sure there is any need for it.
It is controlled by an centralised management system that no one understands.
The French and the Germans both think they built it themselves.
The British parts of it keep trying to leave.
Everyone expects it to disastrously fall apart.
Anything else?
