Folks, flyboy2548m has once again assumed the position and picked up the role of moderating this forum - for which I thank him.

Have fun and play nicely.

Negative, I just don't want 3BS flooding my section with his garbage.

Looks like a gear-up landing gone terribly wrong.

No gear-up landing. Witnesses say the plane fell out of the sky - ok, we all know what witnesses see and report may not necessarily be even close to what really happened but anyway.

Plane crashed without any prior emergency declaration.

Just from the photo looks like the terrain would have made for a survivable engine-out landing (if not stalled / spun).

No survivors - 2 fatalities.

Rumours are that the vertical stabiliser separated inflight.

So, given the thousands of active threads and members here, maybe I won't notice?

And for my first question: Is the crash of a single engine, most likely private aircraft relevant to the Airline Pilot Q&A forum?
Commercial Pilot, Vandelay Industries, Inc., Plant Nutrient Division.
