Good to be here! A little of my background: I'm in my 18th year in the FAA; I've been at terminal (TRACON) and enroute on the west coast U.S., and now enroute on the east coast; I've been a regular controller as well as worked staff positions in quality assurance (incident/accident investigation); a one-year stint as a team supervisor; flow control; temporary assignment at FAA headquarters working on new technologies; and now I'm back to regular controlling as well as lots of on-the-job instructing while I tick off my remaining 7 years.

(I don't know how many people are aware of just how many controllers are electing to retire as soon as they can, regardless of their age, and how many man/years of work are being lost because of it...)
