Plans for coming autumn

Aviators sit in the shade of their weatherbeaten, fabric-covered biplanes, exchange hangar talk and tell stories of their barnstorming days before they take to the air again and fly toward the setting sun ....

While I'm sure it will be filled with the typical "American Flag blowing in slow motion with the sun behind it" scenes, it does look like it may be decent.

Chill Vector.

Someday they'll make a movie about Canadian ATC with a Canadian flag and all.

I'm sure it will blow away any movie about aviation pioneers like the Wrights, Lindbergh and Erhart.

Hmmm I will be disappointed if they do not include Purdue in it.

As much as she was a "pioneer", by many accounts Ms Earhart was a fairly lousy pilot. She suffered numerous accidents prior to the flight that finally claimed her, and it seems her wealthy husband financed her flying escapades mostly to keep her out of his hair.

Plus, don't forget she crashed the Wright Flyer into the Smithsonian Castle.
