Well the good news is, the plane now has a large opening in the side to vent the fumes that will be generated when the battery fails...
And those drunken passengers trying to open a door in flight will surely like this plane!

A350 Problems - With Photographs
Costly Airbus paint flaw goes wider than the Gulf

"An undated image shows what appears to be paint peeling, cracking and exposed expanded copper foil (ECF) on the window of a Qatar Airways A350 aircraft grounded by the Qatari regulator. Image obtained by Reuters."

DUBAI, Nov 29 (Reuters) - A dispute between Airbus (AIR.PA) and Qatar Airways over paint and surface flaws on A350 jets stretches beyond the Gulf, with at least five other airlines raising concerns since the high-tech model entered service, according to documents seen by Reuters and several people with direct knowledge of the matter.

Qatar's national carrier has grounded 20 of its 53 A350s, saying it is acting on orders from its local regulator, until reasons for what witnesses describe as the blistered and pock-marked appearance of some of its A350s can be confirmed.

Yikes... that looks like a lot more than a "paint flaw"!

Hmm... I had a windsurfer once that wasn't cheap, but was composite, made in France, and delaminated "in flight". Coincidence? Maybe. :?
