-Gunfire, burning businesses and news-copter traffic in close proximity to the final approach course for Runways 30L/R.
-Official TFR and flights diverted (and NEAR TOTAL DISASTER averted.)

What's wrong with a visual, modified left base-leg approach to Runway 29...It only cost a cool billion bucks to build, took out half of a municipality and was intended to better deal with traffic?!?!?
