Some airlines banning hoverboards due to the risk of battery fires.

Parlour talking here. I think the reasoning behind it is - 1. fairly large lithium battery 2. significant risk of potential damage to the battery as the device is used in motion 3. damage to battery + overcharge (entirely possible with shit Chinese generic battery) potentially equals.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tpb-n22Y-sY

Compare, contrast.

Really big, really small.

Lots of procedures - dangerous cowboy skateboard stunts.

Both contain batteries that can provide extremely gripping IFE
