LH 431 747-800 Dumping Fuel Near YHZ

Postby J » Fri Oct 13, 2017 1:26 am

I'm sitting in hotel near Halifax Airport and decided to tune in the ATC to while away the time while I catch up on work. What do I hear but a 747 diverting from their ORD to FRA flight, and advising the tower that they're dumping fuel and now approaching to land.

Well, we can all relax. LH 431 just asked permission to push from the gate and is cleared to proceed to FRA.

For some reason, I'm looking forward to see this event discussed there...
