SOMEWHAT Relentless Pull Ups...

Postby 3WE » Thu Jan 04, 2018 6:21 pm

I have never seen a video like this with the on-wing streamers that give some visualization to the turbulent/essentially-reversed-tuck-under airflow.

And it seems to show perhaps maybe an unintentional secondary stall?

Of course, one YouTube leads to another- and this one nicely illustrates the more-forgiving light plane wing where outer portions of the wing often don't stall.

We should install those airflow indicator thingies on all commercial aeroplanies so we can push our bring-a-hostie buttons and/or run to the cockpit if something looks total-air-disastery!

Indeed!
