As God as my witness, I thought Turkies could fly...

Worse yet, this is apparently linked to some kind of issue with the wings production of lift.

And, to be semi serious- must be some pretty good turbulence to cause that many injuries on such a big aeroplanie. On the flip side, many things are relative, and my experiences on 777s have had their share of old fashioned bumps and use of the unguarded switch to turn on the seatbelt sign.

I do firmly believe that seat-belts should be worn at all times (except when going to the tiny lav or storming the cockpit after seeing a flap misconfiguration, of course). And all aeroplanies should be banned.
