A sleeping pilot can't relentlessly pull-up or monkey with CBs. Seems like a big safety improvement to me.

As long as the nap is done by the procedures, it will be ok.

After much thought, I suggest we tell Evan about this.

To be honest, I quit watching after about 4 minutes- Fundamentally, it appears that this guy's airline allows guys to nap during minimal minimal phases of flight. Climb, Descent, Busy airspace are no-no's AND there is a recovery time to clear out the cobwebs.

I assume the other 6 minutes cover all of the many many intricacies and type specific procedures and on and on and on.

Evan might:

-Key on work schedule policies as the problem?

-Might have a differing set of procedures (than these which were developed by insider scientific engineers)?

-Might be upset at any sleep within reach (or slump-over) of the yoke or side-stick?

-Might actually whole-heartedly accept this guys YouTube? [Kind of a reach since we parlour talkers always know better than those insiders]?

-And the worst- might not even participate in the discussion and parlour ass-hattery?
