Ah, the days before turbulence, wind shear, missile attacks, fog, foreigners (except for the good, stereotypical ones), rain, meteorites, snow, and ice. Children could roam freely and you never had to wear your seatbelt....smoke em up boys, while I mix you another martini. The only snakes on a plane were trouser snakes as the stewardess sat on your lap feeding you grapes.

Shooting billards, bowling, pinball, shuffleboard, the communal hot-tub and dining at the Captain's table... Those golden days of air travel are gone, I'm afraid.
