"composition" is what they mean.
"composure" should be the description of the face of the man flying through toilet paper

I thought all new jets had winglets now. Why not on these?

The Boeing engineer was drunk and drew the lines horizontal instead of verticalI thought all new jets had winglets now. Why not on these?
Re: Air New Zealand 777-300 unveiling - All Blacks Livery
If you look closer you'll note that neither the 787 nor the 747-8 (arguably the newest jets) have winglets. Not exactly winglets anyway.I thought all new jets had winglets now. Why not on these?
Re: Air New Zealand 777-300 unveiling - All Blacks Livery
Basically, winglets have been added to old wing design technology to increase efficiency. Newer technology has enabled designing efficiency into the wing without winglets.

yes, they were responsible for the vertical winglets on the rest of the Boeing products. Are you implying that there are non-drunk Boeing engineers? The Boeing engineer was drunk and drew the lines horizontal instead of verticalI thought all new jets had winglets now. Why not on these?
I would've thought Verbal would chime in and educate us on the influences of wing-tip design. Increase in lift, increase in weight, increase in bending moment, reduction in cruise fuel usage, and will it fit in parking areas.

Wasn't he the "wing box" go to guy?

Last I saw he was still the designated bottle washer as retribution for his role in that whole wing box fiasco that delayed the 787.So... What's he doing now?
